8-20 weeks Feed 4 times a day
Breakfast
Half a pound of Minced meat and two tablespoons of vegetables
Midday
2 large chicken wings or 3 small ones or 6 necks or 3pork shoulder ribs
Early evening
Half a pound of minced meat and 2 tablespoons of vegetables
Supper
4 heaped tablespoons of cottage cheese or 2 eggs scrambled or small tin of sardines.
20 weeks - approx 12 months feed 3 times a day .
Breakfast
Half -1lb of minced meat and 2-4 tablespoons of vegetables
Midday
3 large chicken wings or 5 small ones or 8 chicken necks or 5 pork shoulder ribs
Evening
Half-1lb minced meat and 2-4 tablespoons of vegetables or 5 heaped tablespoons of cottage cheese or 2 scrambled eggs and 2 tbs of vegetables or tin of sardines and vegetables
Add the following supplements to the meat/veg meals
Vitamin C
Cold pressed Cod Liver Oil
Vitamin E
Kelp or Keepers Mix from Dorwest Herbs
The above quantities are a rough guide only. You should aim to have a lean well muscled puppy. If the food offered is not all eaten or is the case of bones is being buried then you are probably feeding too much,
If your puppy is very thin and is hungry increase the amount of food offered.
At around 10-12 months of age you can begin to feed twice daily as detailed in the adult diet sheet.
