We are taking bookings for a litter planned for the end of the year, Dam will be Kimmax Kaprice at Mikicin and Sire our import Magic v.d. Tuindershof mit Mikicin - pups will be black & white or Liver & white and will be undocked.
We are not big breeders and only breed when we want a puppy ourselves. Sometimes puppies may be occasionally available to carefully selected homes. Taking on a German Wirehaired Poiner puppy (as with any puppy) is a big responsibility, as is finding the right homes for those puppies. When our puppies go to their new homes, we like to keep in touch with our puppy owners and follow the puppies development and training. We also offer lifetime help and advice to our puppy owners.
All our puppies are registered with the Kennel Club ‘Progeny Not Eligible for Registration’ and Export this is to protect our puppies and to stop our lines from being bred from without our prior knowledge, especially from breeders who do not know and understand the lines from which they are breeding. We will take back any puppy or adult dog that is bred by us, some breeders do not offer this support and they are responsible for dogs in GWP rescue.
Puppies are reared in our busy home and handled by children from an early age, they will also be used to other dogs and will be accustomed to all noises. They will be ready to go to their new homes at eight weeks of age.
When they leave they will be tattooed and have six weeks free insurance which we recommend that you continue. As Kennel Club Accredited Breeders all new owners will be required to sign a contract of sale which is a written agreement between ourselves (Mikicin) and the new owners stating that they understand the endorsements that their new puppy has in place, the Kennel Club Registration Documents, copy of both parents health certificates, details of GWP club, a fact sheet on the care of the new puppy, a comprehensive Diet Sheet, and a generous supply of food – probably enough for the first two weeks, details of any vaccinations and worming details.
If you are interested in a puppy from this litter please email us with your full details and as much information about why you would like a GWP, what you want to achieve with your puppy, showing, working or just a pet also any working arrangements. Also any experience you may have with owning a German Wirehaired Pointer or if this is your first gwp what experience you may have with owning other dogs.
